BZ Docs is an Android document scanner and reader. It works on your phone. It has no server of its own and collects no analytics.

What stays on your phone

Photos you scan, the PDFs made from them, the text read from them and the titles, tags and summaries are stored in the app's storage on your phone. Text recognition and document analysis run on the phone.

Google Drive

When you connect Google Drive, the app asks Google for permission to:

Files are transferred directly between your phone and Google. Nothing is sent to or stored on any other server. The app never shares, sells or transfers Google user data to third parties, and does not use it for advertising or to train AI models. You can remove the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

BZ Docs' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

Delete a document in the app, or uninstall the app, to remove its data from your phone. Files in your Drive stay under your control in Drive.
